Around this time last year, RAM introduced the Harvest Edition RAM 1500, 2500, and 3500 pickups. This year, the Harvest Edition lineup is spreading in a heavier-duty way to the RAM Chassis Cab pickups.
The RAM 3500, 4500, and 5500 Chassis Cab models will soon have available Harvest Edition models tuned specifically for the agricultural industry. For buyers who want to show their agricultural roots, these pickups are available in Case IH Red and New Holland Blue — two famous tractor colors — but they are also available in basic white and black. Helping further set off the Harvest Edition’s exterior are the standard chrome side steps, grille, door handles and mirrors, polished-aluminum wheels, body-color wheel flares (3500 model only), and fog lights.
The RAM Chassis Cab Harvest Edition models aren’t all about looks, though. They also feature plenty of equipment to help get work done like large front tow hooks, a transfer case skid plate, and a rearview camera.
Though farmers may spend most of their time in the fields, many of them still crave technology. The RAM Chassis Cab Harvest Edition models have plenty of that to offer. They feature an available 8.4-inch Uconnect 4C infotainment system with navigation, 4G Wi-Fi, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Sirius Weather, a 7-inch configurable gauge cluster, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, and a power-sliding rear window.
The 2018 RAM Chassis Cab Harvest Edition will be available in the third quarter of 2018. Pricing will start from $43,990 for the RAM 3500, $48,140 for the RAM 4500, and $49,240 for the RAM 5500. Prices do not include $1,695 destination fee.
