The 2019 GMC Sierra lineup is all-new and boasts tons of upgrades that make these new pickups better than ever. Pushing the all-new Sierra 1500 to new levels of luxury and class is the 2019 Sierra 1500 Denali. After a quick debut earlier in 2018, the 2019 Sierra Denali is in showrooms now and ready to work.
The 2019 Sierra 1500 Denali takes the all-new look of the redesigned lineup and pushes it to new levels. It starts with exclusive touches that allow passerbys to recognize it as a premium pickup. Its special bits include a multidimensional bright grille, chrome exterior accents, and body-color bumpers. It also includes high-intensity LED headlights with C-shaped signature lighting, LED fog lights, 20- or 22-inch wheels, dual exhaust with chrome tips, and more.
Inside, the 2019 Sierra Denali continues its standout ways with its standard leather seating, open-pore wood trim, and darkened-aluminum trim. Buyers will also notice this crew-cab pickup has an extra 3 inches of legroom compare to the previous model.
Other features include a MultiPro Tailgate with six unique functions that go beyond just holding cargo, an industry-first carbon-fiber bed, the ProGrade Trailering System with Trailering App to make hauling easier, a multicolor head-up display, a rear camera mirror, heated and ventilated seats, an 8-inch infotainment system with navigation, a Boise nine-speaker audio system, and more.
The 2019 Sierra Denali also boasts an Adaptive Ride Control to keep things smooth by monitoring the road and driver input, and making small adjustments every two milliseconds. The driver also gets the new Traction Select System that tailors the powertrain to the conditions via five drive modes: Tour, Sport, Snow, Off-Road, and Tow/Haul.
Powering the 2019 GMC Sierra Denali is a standard 5.3-liter V-8 engine with 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. This V-8 mates to an eight-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain delivers up to 17 mpg city, 23 highway, and 19 combined with rear-wheel drive. With four-wheel drive, it gets up to  15 mpg city, 21 highway, and 17 combined.
Looking for more oomph? Opt for the 6.2-liter V-8 engine that cranks out 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. This power routes through a 10-speed automatic transmission and out to all four wheels. The V-8 engine’s Dynamic Fuel Management system deactivates up to six cylinders in varying formations to improve fuel economy. This results in EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings of 15 mpg city, 20 highway, and 17 combined.
