The GMC Canyon has been one of our brand’s most popular pickup trucks since its inception in 2014 thanks to its consistently high-quality engine and just the right amount of options. Now, GMC is making it even more customizable in 2017 with additional trim levels and more choices under the hood with the Canyon Denali, and All-Terrain X.
“Canyon continues to carve out its own niche as the only premium truck in the midsize segment,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of GMC Sales and Marketing. “With a broader 2017 Canyon lineup […] GMC is offering more choices for finding the premium truck or SUV that matches customers’ design preferences and capability needs.”
Canyon Denali
Keeping with the GMC tradition, this Denali model comes covered in chrome accents and gets an extra boost of luxury to the interior. The 2017 Canyon Denali sports 20-inch machined aluminum rims with chrome spray, tubular chrome assist steps, and a polished exhaust tip on the V-6 version. It also comes with a spray-on bedliner, so this truck can look beautiful even when handling the toughest jobs.
Inside, you get a Jet Black motif with leather-appointed, heated and ventilated front seats, which are exclusive to the Canyon models for GMC, as well as Denali-logo sill plates and floor mats. The intuitive instrument panel and continuous flow of the cabin give this an upscale feel you won’t want to miss out on.
Canyon All Terrain X
This special version of GMC’s All Terrain packages is the most off-road-ready model yet. The X factor for the 2017 Canyon All Terrain X is the Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac P255/65R17 all-terrain tires and all-weather floor liners to All Terrain content. You’ll also get an off-road suspension and transfer case shield, unbeatable hill descent control, unique 17-inch aluminum wheels, as well as a spray on bedliner to keep your truck looking good. The All Terrain X model requires the new 3.6L V-6/eight-speed automatic propulsion system, but the 2.8L Duramax turbo-diesel engine is also available.
