Most notable upgrades to the 2018 Ford Expedition are all in the tech category. Ford asserts there are 40 features added that are new to this model with the intention of making the vehicle safer and more connected. It’s absolutely convenient thanks to the Sync Connect with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities, the wireless charging port, and a Wi-Fi hotspot with a 50-foot range. You can text, tweet, email, and more on the go with this vehicle.

Alongside the connectivity tech, is the safety features that surround this vehicle in cameras and sensors so well it almost drives itself. In fact, it can park itself in parallel or perpendicular spots with the new Park Assist that uses sensors to achieve the perfect park every time. There’s also the 360-degree cameras that enable lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, pre-collision warning with automatic braking, and more. You basically just need to tell it where to go.

Thanks to innovative engineering in the lab, Ford has found a lighter and stronger way to create an aluminum alloy body that makes this SUV lighter and more nimble on the road. Not to mention it helps you save big on gas. The Expedition boasts a 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine with standard Auto Start-Stop plus a class-exclusive new 10-speed automatic transmission and all that makes it the most powerful model yet.
