2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt Goes Blue for Charity

By Justin Cupler | August 17th, 2018

Ford is always doing something for charity, and now it’s working on a one-off Mustang Bullitt to benefit Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation that’s sure to attract a crowd.

No, this won’t be some wild Mustang with 1,000 horsepower. Instead it will be a subtle one-off model that will require a knowledgeable Mustang expert to catch. All 2019 Mustang Bullitt models come coated in Shadow Black or Dark Highland Green, but this special rig will come slathered in Kona Blue. The blue hue carries on inside as the cabin will boast blue contrast stitching.

Otherwise, this is your normal old Mustang Bullitt — not that there is any “normal” Bullitt. It comes with the 5.0-liter V-8 powerplant rated at 480 horsepower matched to a six-speed manual transmission. Completing the Bullitt package are the 19-inch heritage wheels, a blacked-out grille, Bullitt interior accents, and more.

No, you can’t buy this Kona Blue Mustang Bullitt here at Garber Automall. You have to buy raffle tickets for $10 each. Ford will sell up to 60,000 ticket for this one-of-a-kind Mustang. This special Bullitt will be on display at Ford Media Club House at Kruse and Muer, 28028 Woodward Ave., in Royal Oak, Michigan until the raffle takes place.
