The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon offered last-generation Wrangler buyers a sharp-looking, off-road-ready rig, but it didn’t carry into the all-new JL-generation Wrangler. That ends now.
Meet the 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon. On the outside, this rugged off-roader will boast heavy-duty rock rails, body-color fenders, LED headlights and taillights, gloss black grille with body-color surrounds, Recon fender badge, matte black fender vent decals with American flags, unique 17-inch black-painted aluminum wheels, a matte-black hood stripe decal with red tracer, front and rear steel bumpers with bumper loops, and Rubicon gray grille throats and headlamp inserts.
These upgraded exterior goodies will be complemented by 11 color options: Black, Granite Crystal, Sting-Gray, Billet Silver, Ocean Blue, Sarge, Bikini, Firecracker Red, Punk’n, Hellayella and Bright White.
Inside, the 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon will feature a Jeep trail bag, red seat belts, and PUR-wrapped mid bolsters with red accent stitching.
What really makes the Wrangler Rubicon unique are its rugged off-road bits. These include next-generation Dana front and rear heavy-duty axles, enhanced off-road rock rails, the Rock-Trac NV241 two-speed transfer case with a 4.0-to-1 low-range gear ratio, electric front and rear locking differentials, a disconnecting front sway bar, and 33-inch Falken Wildpeak Mud-Terrain tires.
Not only can you cake this Wrangler in dirt and mud, but it’ll look darn good cruising around Orange Park when clean too. Pricing will run $43,380 for the two-door model and $46,880 for the four-door Unlimited model.
