Chevy already has one of the most robust crossover and SUV lineups on the market that includes the Trax, Equinox, Blazer, Traverse, Tahoe, and Suburban. Chevy noticed a small void in the compact space between the subcompact Trax and the Equinox, which sits on the larger side of the compact crossover segment, and decided it would fill it with a familiarly named crossover, the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer.
When it arrives at our Chicago Chevy showroom, the 2021 Trailblazer will sit between the 167.6-inch Trax and the 183.1-inch Equinox, but we will not know its official size until we get closer to its on-sale date. What we know is it will take on the more aggressive look the all-new Chevy Blazer ushered in this year with its thin headlights, hard angles, bold grille, and upright stance. Buyers who seek even more uniqueness will love its available RS package that adds black accents and a contrasting roof.
We also know the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer will offer our Chicago area buyers plenty of safety with its slew of standard advanced features like front pedestrian braking, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and lane-departure warning. Optionally, buyers will be able to add adaptive cruise control, rear parking sensors, and a high-definition rearview camera.
More information, including official dimensions and performance data, will be available closer to the 2021 Trailblazer’s early-2020 on-sale date.
