Despite getting a full redesign just a few years ago in 2017, the GMC Acadia will get a significant refresh in 2020. Here’s what to expect when the 2020 GMC Acadia hits the Garber Automall showroom serving Jacksonville, Florida.
When the 2020 GMC Acadia arrives for our Fleming Island area buyers, it will roll in with all new front and rear ends. Up front, our Orange Park buyers will enjoy a new front end that boasts a larger, more upright grille, updated headlights with standard C-shaped LED accent lights, and a new bumper. Around back, the 2020 Acadia will get all-new taillights that match the headlights, a new bumper, and revised exhaust outlets.
Under its hood, the 2020 GMC Acadia will gain a new midrange 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This will inject 230 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The base engine will remain a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 193 horsepower and 188 pound-feet of torque, while its range-topping engine will remain a 3.6-liter V-6 with 310 horsepower. Handling the shifting duties for all three engines will be a new nine-speed automatic transmission with a push-button shifter in place of the gearshift lever.
Inside, an all-new GMC infotainment system will arrive, as will a redesigned center console and new open-pore wood trim in the Denali model. This new system will boast an 8-inch touchscreen, tailored personal profiles, an enhanced navigation system with one-shot destination entry, connected navigation with real-time traffic updates, and new USB-C ports.
Other tech updates on the 2020 Acadia will include a new head-up display, a new-generation 15-watt wireless charging pad, a high-definition rearview camera, a rear-camera mirror, and more.
2020 GMC Acadia AT4
The 2020 GMC Acadia’s updates also include an all-new, off-road-ready AT4 model. Like other GMC AT4 models, the Acadia AT4 boasts all the goodies to handle medium-duty off-road tasks. The 2020 GMC Acadia AT4 rolls in with a handful of exterior updates to set it apart, including a black chrome-accented grille, unique 17- or 20-inch wheels, and more. This model also adds a
310-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6, twin-clutch all-wheel drive, and much more.
