Since then, others have caught up, so this trailblazing electric hatchback is primed to reset the game in 2020 with an enhanced range.
Visually, the 2020 Chevy Bolt EV delivers buyers in the Jacksonville area up to a 259-mile electric driving range* on a full charge, which is a 21-mile increase over the previous model. What’s more, this 8.8% driving range increase comes with no physical changes to the battery pack, as all the updates occurred at a chemical level inside the battery.
This range pushes the new Bolt EV past the 240-mile Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus and adds separation between it and the 226-mile Nissan LEAF e+ and the 125-mile Volkswagen e-Golf.
Besides its upgraded battery, the 2020 Chevy Bolt EV will get two new exterior colors: Cayenne Orange Metallic and Oasis Blue.
The 2020 Chevy Bolt will arrive in the Orange Park and Fleming Island areas later in 2019 with a starting price of $37,495 (destination fees included) before any federal or state credits. This pricing is the same as the 2019 model, making the added range a free upgrade.
