Since hitting showrooms, more than 66 percent of all 2019 Ford Rangers sold have included one of the optional appearance packages. Starting today, Jacksonville area Ford shoppers will have one more package to choose from, the Black Appearance Package.
As its name implies, the Black Appearance Package darkens up the sharp looks of the 2019 Ford Ranger with black-colored accents on the outside. So, what all is included in the darkening? The long list of darkened bits includes the grille, 18-inch aluminum wheels and center caps, running boards, spray-in bed liner, fender-vent surround, mirrors, sill plates, and lower valance. When combined with the FX4 package, you also get a black bash bar, and all models with this package include body-color bumpers.
Everything else on the 2019 Ford Ranger remains the same with this package, including its 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 270 horsepower and the 10-speed automatic transmission.
The 2019 Ford Ranger’s Black Appearance Package adds $1,995 to the pickup’s MSRP. This package is is only available on XLT and higher trims, and it requires the $995 301A Package too, which puts the combined starting MSRP for the Ranger with the Black Appearance Package at $32,195.
