The Dodge Hellcat cousins have been a huge success for the brand, adding a dose of performance the muscle car segment’s never seen. Today, Dodge announced it will spice up the 2019 Charger Hellcat with a new Octane Edition model that will give it a more sinister look to match its wicked supercharged engine.
On the outside, the 2019 Dodge Charger Octane Edition will be available in two color options: Pitch Black or White Knuckle. Giving it the striking look that’ll set it apart from other Hellcat models will be satin- and low-gloss black accents, including its full-length center stripe, deck-lid spoiler, and 20-inch Cross Brace wheels. Popping off this darkened body will be red tracers outlining the center strip and red-painted Brembo calipers.
Inside, the bespoke theme continues with SRT Performance seats with Houndstooth inserts, an SRT Hellcat logo stitched into the seats, and red accent stitching. There will also be red accent stitching throughout the cabin, a black-on-black SRT Hellcat instrument panel badge, red seat belts, gloss-black interior accents, and dark-brushed bezels.
Under its hood, the Charger Hellcat Octane Edition will retain the 707- Â 6.2-liter supercharged V-8. This power will route exclusively through an eight-speed automatic transmission on its way to the rear wheels.
The 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat will hit the Garber Automall showroom in Green Cove Springs in the fall of 2019 with just a $1,495 suggested premium over the base model.
