It was time for my vehicle to get an oil change and routine service. I tried reaching out to my customer rep at Orange Park Chrysler Jeep Dodge but he never would call me back so I called Garber.. I spoke with Eric Slade and he got me in right away... I got my oil changed and other routine service. I live in Jacksonville and will drive to Green Cove Springs from now on... Eric Slade and Scott Nelson were excellent, they answered all my questions and made me feel like I was their only customer.
my 2011 1500 ram back in March my experience was great no pushy sales guy. Got me out quickly and service shop Very nice and professional. Thank you
EDIT: Mike, I was right.I spoke with the Service Manager Bill earlier today after his attempts at contacting me over the past several days and I voiced my issues with my recent visit to Garber. We discussed the pricing and the level of service that I was given. Our conversation was short and friendly. He explained that Garber uses GMC factory parts and I understand now that I failed to take this into account from what I was searching at local auto stores. Their labor costs are fair as well when compared to other auto shops in the area. I called around to a few places when I left Garber and they all quoted the $200-$300 range. Finally we discussed the reluctance from the cashier to at least ask the mechanics to put the window up, which she did not want to do because "it was just going to fall down again." He completely understood and has offered to refund my diagnostic and an oil change as well.At no point during our conversation did he ask me to change or edit my review of Garber.Take a look at their other reviews and each one has a comment from the company. Customer service and satisfaction is something Garber prides itself on. You can see this is reflected in the amount of 4-5 star reviews they have. I have chosen to edit my review because I feel that a company that is willing to work with and take the time to help come to an understanding with the customer deserves a second chance. If you are unsure of a choice to be made between different auto shops or have any questions please contact Bill. He cares very much about his customers and from our conversation he gave me honest, straight answers. I will most definitely be coming back to Garber.*THIS IS A PREVIOUS REVIEW THAT IS NO LONGER APPLICABLE*I came in because my window was not moving. I paid 90 for a diagnosis and was told the regulator was broken And needed to be replaced. I was quoted 800 for a new regulator and declined the part. I walked 20 feet away and google searched the same part for 115. Terrible company and horrendous practices. They left trash and rubber silicone on my dash. Go to emmets auto shop down the road for cheaper and faster repairs and friendlier service. I will never have anything to do with Garber. I thank the company for making me order the part and learning to install it myself.
I love Mike, he's my hero. He yelled, "show me the money," a few times and I did it, I showed Mike the money.
